We know how to celebrate in our family... we had a Maui Zaui pizza from Round Table for Valentine's Day dinner! Whooooo hoooooo!!! Actually, Kitty Kat and I were supposed to go out to dinner but the little girl is pretty sick so we are hanging at the crib, eating our Maui Zaui and watching Car's on TV. I figure we will all be asleep by about 8!
Tomorrow the SacTownGuy will turn 40 so we will probably go really big. Shoot, maybe we will stay up until 9 tomorrow night! Actually we have plans to go to the Japanese steakhouse for a little Beni-Hana style dinner. We shall see how my peeps are doing tomorrow to see if they are up to it. Hope so... otherwise could be back to Round Table!
Speaking of which, are Round Table driver was in his 50's, driving a newish Toyota 4-Runner, and had his dog in the back seat. Just a nice laid back life I guess. I had on my SSU football shirt on and he mentioned that he used to live at the Russian River until he moved here 30 years ago. I wish I had more time to talk to him as I would have been curious what caused him to make the move and, how on earth, does he survive delivering pizzas!
We hit the pool for a while this afternoon. I think Marriott has broken thermostats on their pools. The main pool water feels too cold and the hot tub was scorching people who got into it. Was almost funny to watch people walk down the steps into the hot tub and then quickly walk back out and comment about how the water burned their legs. No wonder there were 6 or 8 of us sitting on the outside of the hot tub with, at most, our fee in the water!
Ok, well, I better go watch some Car's before my peeps all fall asleep.
