What would you do in this situation? I drove through the gates into my hood yesterday. All is pristine and safe behind the gates, right? WAIT, what's that slithering across the street just a few doors down from my crib? YES, a snake! I don't know about you but I do not like snakes, bugs, rodents, etc.... Just do not like them. I have gotten to the point of being able to deal with all the lizards and frogs around my house as they don't appear to be leaving but snakes? I would be happy to eradicate all of them. I realize they eat rodents but I would rather put out some rodent poison! Anyway, I was driving about 20 mph so had more than enough time to realize 1) Yes that is a snake, 2) he was moving so very alive, 3) I can swerve left or right to avoid him, and/or 4) I can drive right over him.... What the heck would you do?
Well, as stated I had plenty of time to think about it because I was driving so slowly. I hate to kill another living creature (except for rodents and large insects) but this could be a big bad poisenous snake, right? made road kill of him. Looking in my rear view mirror it was clear my wide low profile tires made him into a very low profile dude in the matter of seconds. It was pretty ugly looking actually. As I drove on I had second thoughts, was that right? Was that wrong? What should I have done? As I reconsider everything here today I think I would do it again!
