Rockin' Out

Most of us have hobbies. As I acknowledged in my previous post this week I enjoy collecting baseball cards. I also enjoy running, riding my bike, and at one point in life was an avid golfer. In particular, the physical activities, like going to the gym every day, really help relieve the stress and tension of life. More of us should have stress relieving hobbies we enjoy doing.

Having said all that my man Rockin' Rubes (aka: Hockey Guy), the Jewish Eddie Van Halen, got back into music a couple years back. He started a rock band and before long they were playing gigs... real gigs where people paid them money to perform. How cool is that!?
Seriously, how many of you golfers would like to get paid for playing, even if not a lot, rather than only spending money on your hobby?

I would say it has become a very large part of his life with band practice, gigs, and partying all night like a rock star! Ok, well maybe no rock star partying but my man does rock the house. I have not been at the wild gigs but I have heard at one certain pub in Citrus HIIIIeights the crowd got pretty rowdy late at night!

The band originally was known as Silent Dissention, then become Silent Dissent and is now called Twice Divided. They are probably breaking up soon due to a couple of rock star attitudes but I bet Rockin' Rubes will find a new band soon!

I don't know how to load a video so go check it out at YouTube, right HERE.

Can you guess which is the Jewish Eddie Van Halen? Yes, the guy clearly enjoying what he is doing.

Party on Rubes!

peace out.
