So at 9:15 this morning Bill called and left a VM for me. He did apologize so I will not quit the Ranch today. However, I do like the idea of saving a C-note, or more, a month on gym dues.... Anyway, his apology was fine but missed the mark in two major ways.

First, he said he did not put the card on my windshield, does not know who did, and nobody was authorized to do so. Ok, fine. However, I think he should also have said, "I will find out who did this, tell them not to do it again, because our customers are so important to us... and in the end this is on me because I am the GM." I felt he was just passing the buck. He is the GM and thus he needs to take that on HIMSELF. I know I do so just about every day around my office!

Second, he told me he was really surprised about my complaint about the bikes as they spent $26,000 about a year ago on new bikes at the Ranch. Either he is CLUELESS or... well, I don't have anything else, he must be clueless. It doesn't take a fitness guru to know the bikes at the Ranch I go to has bikes that are about 10 years old. I have been working out there for 5 years and during the entire 5 years the bikes have squeaked, do not have straps on most, etc.... Now, there are two facilities across the street from each other. Possibly the old Ranch building has $26,000 worth of new bikes? Possibly the spin class room has $26,000 worth of new bikes? However, the newer Ranch building with the kid's club and the basketball court has REALLY OLD BIKES. Plus, only about 6 bikes. Just pathetic. Does he really not know that? Playing dumb like that just makes him look stupid in my opinion.
