Mall Fun

I went to Nordies this weekend with Kitty Kat. In theory I was going to go to the Omega watch dealer to try on that watch I like to see if I liked it on my wrist; hard to tell on Amazon.com how it looks on your wrist! However, we also were going to get some clothes for Kitty Kat for some meetings this week related to her museum project. The kids stayed at a couple of the neighbor's houses as they were having too much fun. It thus was just Kitty Kat and myself.

We started at Nordies. Normally I check some scores on my cellie, read a paper, or just veg out. On this day I sat down in the guy chairs outside the dressing room and was happy to see a few magazines piled up to read. However, I sifted through the stack and found multiple copies of Lucky and In Style. WTF!? These chairs are clearly designed for GUYS, MEN, HOMBRES, CHICOS, DUDES, STUDS, whatever... and not for chicks so why the F would you have Lucky and In Style? How about SI, ESPN the Magazine, Newsweek or even People for all I care. I am not a big Hollywood gossip type but reading about Britney and K-fed is better than Lucky and In Style. In fact, give me Cosmo if you must; at least they have some juicy articles sometimes! Give me a well used, day or two old SacTown Bee if you must but LUCKY and IN STYLE? Are you kidding me? I am mad as I remind myself about the insult today... two days later! Shoot, go old skool, like the old barber shops and have a stack of Playboys! Whatever you do Nordies don't waste time with Lucky and In Style at the guy chairs!

Oh ya, by the way, I never got to the f'ing watch store!
