Gas Prices

How the heck did gas prices fall so quickly and so far? Of course I am not about to go out and buy a Hummer as I realize the price could go back up even quicker. However, it truly is amazing. Here's a snap shot of Kitty Kat's fill up yesterday. Yes, she really paid 83.9 cents a callon yesterday! Ok, ok so maybe there is more to the story... she has been hording her Safeway 10 cent per gallon discounts for a while. Thus she got eighty cents off per gallon.

However, still would have been $1.63(and 9/10) per gallon without the discount. Shoot, a buck sixty three, are you kidding me!? Wasn't that long ago we were happy if we "only" had to pay FOUR sixty three a gallon. I am not smart enough to understand it. Economics, cartels, etc... but whatever the heck it is I will take these prices! Now let's lower the prices of professional sports events.
